what's a golden moon?Golden Moons are Mc Moon editions I've burned to participate on the series with you, they were bought back through years on the secondary market since the Mc Moon launch on December 28, 2022. I burn all 15 Mc Moons myself before the release, and the 15 works they unlock go to auction marked as Golden Moons from November 11, alongside every work not allocated through burns. In them lives the concept documenting the inevitable bear market, across crypto and the art market. The only difference between a Golden Moon and the rest is in the metadata, marking my personal choice.

No artwork is on the menu yet: the hundred stay under wraps until November 10. Every Mc Moon you burn becomes one of two unrevealed works, a Pick or a Surprise, and they can change hands on the secondary market in the meantime.

What is oMcParty?
A series I had so much fun making. It starts from the McDonald's parties I loved as a kid, and mixes all that nostalgia with how I see the world today, crypto culture and everything in between.
I've always told my collectors not to expect utility from my work, and this isn't utility either. It's a new chapter: almost four years after Mc Moon, my first 1/1/100 is born.
My most sincere thanks to everyone who held Mc Moon for the art and is joining my party today. The auction day, November 11, is my birthday. I'm turning 25, with grit, optimism and a real passion for what I do, and I couldn't ask for a better celebration than being here with you and my practice. I hope to see you in 5, 10, 20, 35 more years to come.
Let's make CryptoArt fun again, together.
How do I get an artwork?
Burn a Mc Moon edition at the counter, from November 4 until the auctions start on November 11 at 11:00 BRT / 09:00 EST / 14:00 GMT / 23:00 JST. Every burn gives you, on the spot, one of two unrevealed works: a Pick or a Surprise. It sits in your wallet as an unrevealed token until it becomes a one-of-one: when you choose (Pick) or when the kitchen draws for you (Surprise).
Should I pick or let the kitchen surprise me?
Both start with a burn. Pick costs 0.222 ETH extra and lets you choose your artwork from the menu between November 10 and November 11 at 11:00 BRT / 09:00 EST / 14:00 GMT / 23:00 JST, first come, first served. Surprise is free: you receive a random artwork when choosing closes on November 11 at 11:00 BRT / 09:00 EST / 14:00 GMT / 23:00 JST.
Can I sell or buy an unrevealed work?
Yes. Picks and Surprises are regular tokens, so they can change hands on the secondary market from November 4. Whoever holds a Pick when choosing opens on November 10 is the one who chooses its artwork, and a Surprise gets its random artwork whoever holds it.
Can I burn after November 9?
Yes. Burning stays open until the auctions start on November 11 at 11:00 BRT / 09:00 EST / 14:00 GMT / 23:00 JST.
How does the random allocation work?
When choosing closes on November 11 at 11:00 BRT / 09:00 EST / 14:00 GMT / 23:00 JST, random artworks are drawn from every piece still available, so every Surprise, and every Pick that didn't choose, has the same odds. The draw happens onchain: the contract shuffles the remaining pieces using the hash of a block chosen in advance, so nobody hand-picks who gets what. You'll see which artwork is yours once the auctions close.
What is a Golden Moon?
One of the 15 Mc Moon editions I bought back myself on the secondary market since the Mc Moon launch on December 28, 2022. I burn all 15 before the release, and the 15 artworks they unlock are the ones I auction: #001, #007, #010, #018, #022, #034, #044, #050, #060, #061, #066, #076, #087, #095 and #097. The only difference between a Golden Moon and any other work is in the metadata, marking my personal choice.
How do the auctions work?
They start on November 11 at 11:00 BRT / 09:00 EST / 14:00 GMT / 23:00 JST, as soon as burning and choosing close, in the Auctions tab. The lots open one after another, a new one every 10 minutes: the Golden Moons first, then every unclaimed work. Each lot runs for 24 hours from its opening and starts at 0 ETH, with a first bid of 0.01 ETH. Each bid has to top the last one by at least 5%. A bid in the final 10 minutes extends that lot by another 10 minutes, so nobody wins by sniping at the last second. If someone outbids you, your ETH goes back to your wallet.
Can I claim more than one Companion for the same artwork?
No. The Companion is unique: each artwork gets one original print, hand-signed and with its certificate. If you'd like an extra print, for example another capture of your oMcArcade game, we can make an exception for a print only, with no signature or certificate. Write to moon@omentejovem.com.
How is an oMcArcade work printed?
Every oMcArcade work began as a still image I drew, then came alive as a game. For the Companion you choose from up to 3 options: the original still, or captures of the exact image your game shows you. What the game shows is drawn at random, and as the holder you can change it: play again and send the new one before you choose.
How will people know a print was claimed?
Your NFT's metadata updates as soon as the print is claimed and paid for, not when it ships, and it clearly shows whether a print has been claimed.
What are the key dates?
November 4: the series is announced and burns open.
November 4–10, heads up time: burn your Mc Moons, and trade unrevealed works on the secondary market. No artwork is on the menu yet.
November 10 → November 11 at 11:00 BRT: the menu is revealed and Pick holders choose their artwork. Burns stay open.
November 11 at 11:00 BRT / 09:00 EST / 14:00 GMT / 23:00 JST: burning and choosing close, Surprises get their random artwork, and the auctions begin, one lot every 10 minutes.
After the auctions: Companion prints open.
What happens to my Mc Moon when I burn it?
It's gone for good: the edition is destroyed onchain and can't be recovered. In exchange, every completed burn guarantees you one oMcParty artwork.
Why can't I see the artworks yet?
On purpose. Until November 10 the menu shows no artwork: in its place you'll find your own unrevealed works. On November 10 the whole menu goes up, the shuffled feed and the full catalogue sorted by trait, and Pick holders start choosing. Until then, I'm dropping hints on my socials and in my newsletter on Kit.
I paid to pick but didn't choose in time. What happens?
You still get an artwork. Any Pick that hasn't chosen by November 11 at 11:00 BRT / 09:00 EST / 14:00 GMT / 23:00 JST receives a random one, like the Surprises.
Can I burn more than one Mc Moon?
Yes. One burn equals one artwork, so two burns guarantee two artworks. Burn them one at a time: after each burn the Neet Clown offers Burn another Mc Moon for as long as your wallet holds one.
Why is the feed shuffled?
On purpose. From November 10 the works appear in random order, mixed across every trait, so you discover the series one surprise at a time. Each one shows its own number, so you always know which work you're looking at. The full menu, sorted by trait, is right below it. Holders who have burned at least one Mc Moon can see the full Menu starting November 10.
What happens to works nobody claims?
Any artwork not allocated through burns joins the 15 Golden Moons at auction, right after the Golden Moons.
What is the Companion?
A signed, year-dated print of your artwork on Hahnemühle Photo Rag 310 gsm, with a passe-partout and frame in white, black, red, yellow or blue, a certificate of authenticity and a custom stainless-steel holder. It ships in a red-painted wooden crate, stenciled with the yellow M from #001, with protective foam inside. $333 + shipping covers the standard size: a 45 × 36.2 cm visible print with a 3.5 cm passe-partout margin, or 37 × 37 cm for square works. Each one is made to order: production can take 2–4 weeks before it ships.
Can I get my Companion in another size?
Yes. Other sizes cost more than the standard $333. Write to moon@omentejovem.com and the team will send you a quote.
When can I claim my Companion, and how do I pay?
Claims open once the last auction closes and every artwork is allocated. You can pay by credit card or crypto.
What are tips in Big Macs?
After your burn you can feed the Neet Clown: a tip to the artist, counted in Big Macs and sent as ETH. It's optional, and how much is entirely up to you. Tipping is open from November 4, before and during the auctions: feed him any time from the Golden Tippers bar on the menu or in the auction room. The ten biggest tippers each get an exclusive ERC-1155 edition on my official contract, airdropped once it's created.
